1982 : Birth of Cosylva in St Amand Montrond ( 18, Centre of France).

1984 : Setting up of the Company  on Bourganeuf site ( 23, Limousin).

Cosylva has begun with the manufacturing of glue laminated timber ( glulam) frameworks.

After the first French Building crisis at the beginning of the 90s, Cosylva has continued to expand as an industrial manufacturer of Glulam Components.

Then Cosylva’s new lease of life allows to double the production in three years in passing quickly the 10000 m3 of glulam per year mark.

Over the years, Cosylva has diversified the production in developing Douglas fir gluing and in proposing new products like Bardage-collé ®, Cosylam ® or PP2B ®.

Production tools has been modernized with important investments as the purchase of two CNC cutting machines.

In 2008, Cosylva invested in a second manufacturing site with a Douglas fir lumber sawing line and a third CNC cutting machine.
