The Eco-profile is the summary of the analysis of a product life cycle.

Using the major source of information contained in the Environmental and Health Declarations, the Eco-profile shows the main impacts of a product on the Environment.

For the Douglas fir products manufactured by Cosylva, the Eco-profile is noticeable for :

-The use of a local timber ( reduction of transport and storage costs).

-The environmental management of the production sites.

-The management and recovering of by products.

A strict selection of all materials and products we use (glues in conformity with the current standards, preservative or finishing products with CTBP+ and « Excell Vert » certifications ...)

In addition and from 2006, Cosylva has asked ADEME to realize the Bilan Carbone ® of its activity ;  This allow our Company to optimize greenhouse gaz emissions.
